About

Background

Originally from Dublin, Ohio, I became enthused with music and audio when I was in high school and started playing the guitar at age 14. I attended Ohio University where I received a bachelor of communications degree in the field of audio/music production. During my time there, I was able to produce several projects featuring artists such as Athens' own Corbin Marsh Band and 7 Book Trilogy from Columbus, as well co-produce a collaboration with my two roommates/audio colleagues, which we dubbed The Alley Cats.

Since graduation, I have worked mostly as a freelance audiovisual technician for Markey's AV at the Columbus Convention Center, the Abbey Theater of Dublin, and Brainstorm Media. I also worked as a stagehand for the 2012 Creekside Jazz and Blues Festival in Gahanna, and as an audio recordist for the John David Hartfield short film, Homecoming. I continue to improve my mobile recording setup and produce my own music (hear some recent tracks on my Music page).

In the summer of 2016, I relocated to Seattle, where I continue to work as a freelance tech and develop my skills as an audio professional and music producer.
